Our Team
Local Roots & Global Focus
Decades ago, Luigi Aquilini emigrated from Travagliato, Italy, to establish a life for his family in Vancouver, Canada. Here, he founded Aquilini Group, a family-owned and operated collection of companies comprised of diverse holdings that span the globe. At the core of Aquilini Group is Luigi’s passion for agriculture and farming. Named after the Golden Eagles that inhabit the region, Luigi built the first of Golden Eagle Farms in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia where our head office and packing facility are located today. Luigi’s roots remain in the soil of Golden Eagle as we strive to provide the best berries, worldwide.

Luigi Aquilini
Owner & Founder
At the core of the Aquilini Group is Luigi’s passion for agriculture and farming. After emigrating from Travagliato, Italy, Luigi and his sons built their first farms in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge in the 1980s. Since then, the family business has expanded to become a global operation, with farms in the USA and Australia.

Dula Badesha
Sales & Operations
Dula Badesha has worked at Golden Eagle Farms for over 20 years, starting as a general farm worker as a teenager. Luigi Aquilini noticed Dula’s work ethic and drive from the start and gave him new roles as he grew. Luigi personally shared the knowledge of running a business with him, giving him insight into finances, sales, operations and logistics, and business development. Empowered by this education and special opportunity, Dula climbed the ranks to become the current Sales and Operations Manager at Golden Eagle Farms.
Corporate Values & Responsibilities
Golden Eagle Farms is dedicated to using sustainable practices that better the environment we grow in and the people we work with.
We are bettering the lives of people from third-world countries, giving them opportunities to work in North America and allowing them to support their families back home. We help set up their new lives in Canada by working with a local RBC bank to set up 30+ foreign employees with bank accounts, financial services, and a financial education.
We are committed to sustainable farming practices, ensuring food safety and quality, that reduce environmental impacts.
